They are the current holders of the FA Cup which was won in 2008 and the Barclays Asia Trophy. Pompeys bitter rivals are local team Southampton who currently play in the Championship. In 2008, Portsmouth reached the FA Cup final for the first time since 1939. They eliminated Manchester United at Old Trafford.
